A colony simulation and survival-based RPG

CryoFall is a single and online multiplayer game centered around constructing a successful colony on an alien planet. Users can farm resources, craft new buildings, explore nearby environments, and outfit characters with advanced weaponry.

In terms of its perspective and overall mechanics, this type of top-down SIM can be compared to other well-known classics, such as SIM City 2000. However, the ability to control individual characters during missions provides an additional level of immersion.

From rudimentary to highly advanced

The skills and items found within CryoFall are also quite unique. Unlike classic SIMs, which are limited in terms of resources, players can access more advanced hardware along the way. For instance, traditional farming implements can eventually be upgraded to include various skills, such as lithium extraction and even cybernetics.

PvP or PvE

Those who wish to enjoy a more relaxed experience can play CryoFall in PvE mode. Anyone who instead strives for fast-paced competition and head-to-head battles can instead enter into an online cooperative PvP arena.

A player-based economy

Many of the goods and services that are required when playing CryoFall can be encountered within automated virtual vending machines. Purchases will involve the use of an in-game currency. In fact, items can even be sold when a player is not online.

Many of the science fiction elements within CryoFall can be compared to those attributed to other SIM platforms, such as Space Colony. Its resource-based nature, as well as the fact that an online co-op version is available, are added bonuses that should not be taken lightly.
